About the Author

Heidi Shadix-Pieros is a mother of two daughters with a passion for skiing. When they saw moose on the slopes of their favorite ski hill in Park City, Utah, the idea for Gilbert The Moose was born. Gilbert The Moose Learns How To Ski is Heidi's first children's book. Heidi lives with her husband Rick and their two daughters in San Luis Obispo, CA.
