When I tell you I nearly screamed when I found this book I mean it. Personally, I am TIRED of Greek Mythology retellings, so when I saw a retelling of non-Greek mythology and one from my favorite areas of history I was all in! The Epic of Gilgamesh is one of my favorite pieces of ancient literature and seeing a retelling of it made me so happy!! If you’re a fan of Circe or Song of Achilles this book is for you! Wilson weaves together a retelling of the ages!
