About the Author

Contributor Bios: Alice Ash is theauthor of the short story collection ParadiseBlock, which won The Edge Hill Short Story Readers'Prize in 2021. She was longlisted for the Galley Beggar Short Story Prize in2019, and other writing has been featured in Granta, Refinery29, 3: AM, Hotel, ExtraTeeth Magazine, the TLS, and Mslexia, amongst manyothers. Interests include motherhood, women's horror writing, domesticity, magical realism, and metamorphosis. Alice's second book, a novel, will bepublished by Serpent's Tail in 2024. Alice teaches at the University ofWestminster and Goldsmiths University, and she is an editor with The LiteraryConsultancy. She lives in the UK. Alicia Elliott is a Mohawkwriter and editor living in Ontario. She has written for The Globe and Mail, CBC, Hazlitt and many others. She's had numerous essays nominated for NationalMagazine Awards, winning Gold in 2017 and an honourable mention in 2020. Hershort fiction was selected for Best American Short Stories 2018 (by RoxaneGay), Best Canadian Stories 2018, and Journey Prize Stories 30.
