Book Feast

The Children’s Book Feast will commence on Friday, September 7 at 5 pm, and continue from 9am - 6pm on Saturday, September 8, 2012 in Library Hall, the Arts Depot, and outside on the Library Lawn. The full schedule is listed in the pdf below.

Book Feast will feature renowned kid’s book authors and illustrators, who will lead dynamic presentations and workshops for kids of all ages. Featured authors include Ingrid Law, Avi, Sneed Collard, Janet Stevens, Caroline Stutson,Michelle Rodenburg, and more to come! There will also be perfromances by hilarious storyteller, Bonnie Phipps, and the Buntport Theater Group. Interactive community mural painting with award-winning Colorado illustrator, Craig Brown. Special Skype visits with the far-away but fabulous,Wendy Mass, Jarrett Krosoczka, and Dan Gutman!

Cost: $7 for general admission, which includes presentations, theater, and some activities.

Special Workshop opportunities with visiting authors, illustrators, and other artists. $10 for each workshop, which will be limited to 20 kids per session. Reserve your spot early! Download the workshop registration form (pdf) below and bring it in to the Kids' desk at the Library.
