Travel back in time to experience frontier Hayden at the 2012 Hayden Heritage Weekend. A weekend full of interesting activities and insights. Come and explore Hayden, where Dorothy Woodruff and Rosamond Underwood, young ladies from Auburn, New York, experienced 1916 frontier life at its best, from riding to school on horseback to community dances to the challenges of ranchlife. Author Dorothy Wickenden, grand-daughter of Dorothy Woodruff and Executive Editor of The New Yorker, brought to life the adventures of Ros and Dorothy in her book ‘Nothing Daunted’. Hayden remains relatively unchanged since the early 1900s, and its western heritage is alive and well.
