Bud Werner Memorial Library & Off the Beaten Path Bookstore present National Novel Writing Month...30 days & nights of literary abandon for all ages: November 1-30, 2016.

Off the Beaten Path Bookstore is hosting four special after-hours Write-Ins for NaNoWriMo novelists! Spend November 3, 10, 17 and 29 in the Bookstore Loft, writing and exchanging ideas with your fellow novelists. With plug-ins and plenty of space, this is your time to write together and share ideas, breakthroughs, frustration and giggles. Plus, you can enjoy coffee, beer, wine and snacks from the Off the Beaten Path Coffeehouse!

Write-in at the library every day! Bud Werner Memorial Library is a comfortable, quiet and well-lit place to work on your novel all month long. Write at the spacious desks where there are ample plug-ins. Peer out the picture windows when you need inspiration. Use the free computers and WiFi to research important details for your plot. Get to know our referencee librarians when you need a hard-won fact.

What is NaNoWriMo? A fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30. Interested novelists should visit the official NaNoWriMo web site to learn more about the national program.
