John San’t Ambrogio is a very enthusiastic public speaker. The stories he tells from his new book, The Day I Almost Destroyed the Boston Symphony, are lively and entertaining. His voice comes through very strong in his writing. It makes reading his book feel like you are listening to his stories live. He allows the reader to laugh with him about all of the greatest (and most embarrassing) moments in his career. He perfectly chose the stories in this book to highlight his career as a cellist – they weave together perfectly so that the reader is allowed true insight to his life.
It’s a tell-all account! You do not have to be a music lover to love this read!
