Staff Reviews

Within the pages of this beautifully illustrated book, you will find a gentle story of a little girl who wakes up one morning feeling down. She goes about her day with a gray cloud over her head pouring rain while everyone else seems to be frolicking in the sun unaffected by her gloom! That is until she comes across a little stray dog that also has a cloud over its head. Such a sweet tale of how animals can pull us out of our deepest depressions and how supporting each other through hard times will make them that much easier to bear!

Description

A girl takes a journey through the good and not-so-good seasons in life.

A little girl starts her day feeling gray and alone, with everyone around her oblivious to her mood. On her way home from school, she meets a small dog in need of help, and the interaction turns her world a little brighter. Through their newfound friendship, she learns that deep bonds have the power to transform feelings and bring a vital sense of belonging.
