Sometimes the simplest lessons in life are the most powerful, and this book is packed with wisdom, simple and powerful! Author Eagle Bear Vanes shares stories from his Native American heritage, as he writes a book within a book, both including the wise grandfather and the floundering grandson. According to Eagle Bear, we all have a bit of warrior deep inside us, waiting to be discouraged, but if you’re courageous enough to find that tiny warrior within, you can let him out and live the life of your dreams! I love the author’s use of metaphors to tell the story, and at the end of each chapter he includes Points of Wisdom.

This book is the perfect read for anyone going through a life transition; moving on in school, graduating, getting married, acquiring that first job. If you enjoyed Rules For a Knight or Make Your Bed then I know you will savor this book!

Learn to look inward and find strength by learning to use your warrior spirit in this guide from D.J. Eagle Bear Vanas, star and host of the PBS special, Discovering Your Warrior Spirit.

Why seek outside answers when you already possess the resources and power you need? In a world moving faster than ever, the challenge to stay connected to others, your visions, and yourself is great. In Native American traditions, warriors had a creed—to develop themselves as assets to the village they served. Your "village" can be your family, community, company, clients, or the world — anyone you serve. The warrior concept transcends race, gender, or age.

Noted Native American speaker turned author D. J. Eagle Bear Vanas uses wisdom from his Odawa Indian roots and his path as an officer in the U.S. Air Force and later as an entrepreneur to interweave the Native tradition of storytelling with practical key bits of knowledge to live and learn by. By following Vanas's direction, you can develop your talent and ability to better serve and defend others. As a bonus, Vanas includes "Reflections and Breakthroughs" space at the end of the book for you to record your own revelations on each chapter.
