So Late in the Day: Stories of Women and Men
Staff Reviews
For those who question the should have … would have … could have situations in your life, I believe you’ll connect with Keegan’s three short stories. The book is small and the stories are short, but don’t let that fool you! What I appreciate most about Keegan’s writing is her ability to capture the dark shadows of being a woman in a world where women are often looked down upon.
Simply perfect, as to be expected from Claire Keegan. She has a way of dropping you right into the middle of a piece of everyday life and tearing out your heart. With perfectly drawn characters, she always leaves you wanting more of the story.
