Description

As a rule, Amelie Jameson loves her work as a software consultant to small town police departments in the Four Corners area. Her current job becomes less enjoyable when a woman is murdered in the tub next to her at Ca on Springs' main attraction: the historic bathhouse. Within short order, another woman is murdered in hot water, and Amelie's best friend becomes the prime suspect. When Marshal Carlton Duran, Amelie's on-again, off-again lover, seems in over his head, she decides to help, which doesn't seem like such a good idea when she, too, is nearly killed. Her investigation uncovers a dispute that goes back more than two centuries and another deadly discovery that takes everyone by surprise.
