Description

This is a time for change in our lives, professions, and climate. We don't have to go through it alone. Offering a means of navigation in the wilderness of change, Ethics and the Earth Missionary is a journey to define, explore, and outline what the ethical standards could be for the field of ecopsychology and all of us who are looking to become more intentional in our relationship with the rest of the earth. Utilizing metaphors as guides, Tiffany A. Dedeaux, weaves insights into a journey that elevates our level of awareness and assists in establishing a foundation of understanding we can reference in our personal, professional, and academic lives. More than a set of rules one must abide by, a code of conduct can be a way to ensure that life is recognized and protected so that together we can adapt to the environmental, spiritual, and social changes ahead.

About the Author

Tiffany A. Dedeaux was educated at the University of Nevada, Reno where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Social Psychology. She spent 14 years building her career, mostly as a video editor, until she transitioned into digital news production training. Her newfound status as a software trainer afforded her the opportunity to travel throughout the United States and Australia, where she then heard the call to become a guide. To add depth to her journey she explored being a wilderness quest guide as she attended Antioch University Seattle, where she earned a Masters of Arts in Psychology. Her coursework focused on Ecopsychology and Cultural Transformation. Tiffany's first book, Rooted in Water, outlines the foundation of her work. After graduation she trained to become a life coach and started her own practice, Sacred Time, to bring together the principles of ecopsychology with the empowering partnership of coaching.
