This is a second chance romance between Elliot and Ama, a florist and a wedding planner, who have a past with an unspecified messy end. What I loved most about this book was the converging timelines. You meet Ama in the present day, after landing a job planning a very high profile wedding that could make or break her new business, and when the clients pick Elliot Bloom as their florist, Soto makes it painfully clear that there is something awful lurking between Ama and Elliot. However, Elliot's chapters start nearly 4 years before, just before he meets Ama for the first time. With the alternating perspectives, the reader gets a truly masterful glimpse into the relationship between the two main characters. If you want a book that is going to lead you through the gambit of human emotions, and leave you feeling vindicated, cozy and absolutely dizzy in love, Forget Me Not should absolutely be your next choice. P.S. If it gives you Reylo vibes, you’re right on the money. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, don’t worry about it.

“Two years ago Ama, a wedding planner, and Elliot, a florist, broke each other’s hearts. Now they’re on an event that could alter their careers. Can love after a disaster really work? A smart and hilarious ‘opposites attract’ rom-com.”
— Scott Lange, The Bookman, Grand Haven, MI

A wedding planner and her grumpy ex must work together to plan a celebrity event in this deliciously spicy and funny novel from Ali Hazelwood's "favorite writer."

Ama Torres is an optimistic wedding planner who doesn’t believe in marriage. But weddings? They’re amazing. Elliot Bloom is a brooding florist who hates owning a flower shop…until a certain bright-eyed, donut-loving workaholic shows up at his door.

Once upon a time, they collaborated on events by day, and by night, Ama traced the intricate flower tattoos etched along his body. Then Ama shattered his heart and never spoke to Elliot again.

Now they’re working on an event that could make or break both of their careers—except neither of them has gotten over what happened two years ago. Things are not helped by the two brides, who see the obvious chemistry between Ama and Elliot and are determined to set them up, not knowing their complicated history. But as the wedding takes on a life of its own, Ama and Elliot are about to discover that some things can survive a complete catastrophe . . .

Smart and hilarious, Forget Me Not is about two people giving themselves—and love!—a second chance.
