How to Adult: An Illustrated Guide (Hardcover)

Staff Reviews
This book is for all the millennials out there! Somehow we’ve become the age where we are supposed to be responsible, functioning adults, but many of us still have absolutely no idea what's going on. This book was such a fun and strangely helpful read! This book covers a multitude of topics, from the biggest lies we tell ourselves to navigating social media, the right way to load a dishwasher, and how to survive until payday! This is a perfect gift book for the new adult or for someone who needs a laugh about the pitfalls of trying to be a put-together, grown-up sort of person.

Description
An irreverent guide and gift book explaining what it means to be an adult in the real world.
What does it mean to be an adult? When am I an adult? How can I adult? How can I possibly get to the end of this page without checking social media?
To be an adult, physically, is to be a person who is fully grown or developed. To be an adult socially is to be financially self-reliant (to have a job), to be independent (to not live with your parents), and responsible (to be able to make sensible decisions). Legally you are an adult at 18, but adulthood can be a state of mind. There are children out there running their own companies. They are adulting better than you.
Stephen Wildish presents his findings, via charts, graphs, and illustrations, of what it means to adult in the areas of bed, work, social media, household chores, grooming, conversations, finances, and food and drink in this hilarious and relatable gift book, for anyone questioning whether or not they're doing this thing—i.e. "adulting"—correctly.
A hilarious gift for:

- New high school or college graduates
- Teen girl or boy birthday
- The friend or family member who refuses to grow up
