Description

Have you ever been in a place where the light seems to have been dimmed? Have you ever been in a place in life where you can't see the light of day? You felt like God has left you in a dark room and expect you to find a way to escape on your strength and wisdom. You're crying out to God, asking Him the question, "God Where are you?" I want you to know that you are not alone. As Christians, whether we admit it or not, we have all been there.

In this Part 1 Series of God Take This Cup Away From Me, I will share my testimony of how God's grace and mercy allowed me to triumph over those things that the devil thought would kill me. My prayer is that you will realize that, like a good Father, God will not destroy you. However, He will allow things to take place in our lives to mold us into vessels of honor to be used for His glory. Therefore, you must trust the process, be patient, and allow the Holy Spirit to be the light to guide you into the perfect plan of God.

Psalm 119:105, Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.

When you have reached the point that you can't handle one more trial or failure, remember 1 Corinthians 10:13, No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful, He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.

The Bible talks about the three Hebrew boys and how God allowed them to be put in the fiery furnace. Even though they were put in the furnace, God didn't allow them to be consumed. The fire will come into your life, and you will have to experience the heat. Just know that God will be in the fire with you. When you help a child learn to walk or ride a bike, you will hold them. There will come a time when you will let them go. They may fall until they catch on, but they will get up and try again. Often, this is how the lessons of life will be. We may fall, but God expects us to get back up and try again. There have been times in my life that I made decisions that caused me to not only fail God but fail people that believed and trusted in me. Praise God for His awesome mercy and grace that allows us new opportunities every day.

Follow me on my journey of going through the fire and coming out not smelling like smoke.
