Charlene has been affected by child pornography through two separate incidents, two separate cities, two different people, TOO MANY TIMES. She is the Founder and Chair of the Canadian charity "Child Pornography Hurts". She has also developed a theory of "Digital Supervision(c)" for child protection, which is included in this book.

Her studies began at the University of New Brunswick where she obtained her Bachelor of Education (Business). She studied Computer Science at the University of Western Ontario. As a result of her Computer Science studies, she earned the equivalency of a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours. She was then accepted to the University of Toronto to complete her Honours Business Specialist qualification. She has studied several Network
