I told my wife, in 2001, that I wanted to write a cookbook...16 years later I did. As a chef, I create a lot of cool dishes...yet, my kids won't eat most of them...and they are missing out. This cookbook is a collection of my recipes created over the years, from starters, soups & salads, main courses, sous vide cooking, desserts, sides, sauces, seasonings and more. The recipes are very approachable and the steps are laid out to recreate them. I'm very proud of this book; however, what I am most proud of, is that 25% of the proceeds will be donated to charity.

About the Author

Chef Heath Schecter has worked in the restaurant business, across various roles, for over 25 years. He has a bachelor's degree in Architecture from UW-Milwaukee, and attended culinary school at Arizona Culinary Institute in Scottdale, Arizona. He is a published author of recipes for a major sous vide company, and has worked along side celebrity chef, Beau MacMillan at the Sanctuary Resort in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Heath is currently employed as a Corporate Executive Chef for a food manufacturer. Within this industry he has developed and produced products such as sauces, spice blends, and ready-to-eat deli salads. Chef Heath dedicates his free time to his family, and a contributing chef at The Gallery in Lake Forest, IL, with his friend, James Beard House nominee, Chef Dominic Zumpano.
